Research Interests

Present Research

Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations with emphasis on the mathematical theory of traveling gravity, capillary and capillary-gravity water waves with vorticity. More precisely, I am interested in the following topics:

Local and global bifurcation results in the spirit of Crandall and Rabinowitz
Dispersion relations for water flows with a piecewise constant vorticity distribution
The problem of double and secondary bifurcation
Existence results for water flows with discontinuous vorticity function
Regularity of the streamlines and of the free surface

Past Research

Analysis on singular spaces
Regularity and asymptotics of solutions to elliptic equations
Hodge Theory for manifolds with corners
