Séminaire Lotharingien de Combinatoire, B87pref (2022), 1 p.

Preface
It was the very first time that the Séminaire was held at the Domaine
de la Barollière, which ls situated on a hill near the city of
Saint-Étienne. We mostly enjoyed the place and its atmosphere, and
hope to be able to organize the SLC there again. Despite an usually
cold beginning of April, we had great weather and the participants were
able to enjoy the countryside nearby during the breaks. As can be seen
from the photo taken from the premises, they were accompanied by lamas
and a small gathering of what turned out to be drone pilots.
The main speakers of this session were:
Cédric Lecouvey
(Université de Tours, France)
and
Jeremy Lovejoy
(CNRS, Université Paris Cité, France).
They gave, respectively, three lectures on the topics
"Crystal Graph Theory and Some of its Generalizations"
and
"Bailey Pairs in Combinatorics, Number Theory, and Knot Theory".
There were
also many contributed talks (see the detailed list below) which
covered various topics, among which permutations, partitions,
representation theory, symmetric functions, q-series, alternating sign
matrices, ... As usual in the spirit of the SLC, the participants also
had time during the many coffee breaks, evenings and meals taken all
together to have scientific discussions and share ideas. For many of
them, it was the first conference since the beginning of the Covid-19
pandemic which made it particularly enjoyable.
We would like to thank the Institut Camille Jordan and the Agence
Nationale de la Recherche (projet Combiné ANR-19-CE48-0011) for their
financial support.
