Properties of the Quilt Lattice
Abstract.
Quilts were recently introduced as a generalization of the concept of alternating sign matrices. While their enumeration is hard, it turns out that they form a lattice with beautiful properties, in many cases generalizing and expanding on the properties of the lattices of alternating sign matrices. In this extended abstract, we present several such results.
