Invariant Theory for Left Regular Bands
Abstract.
Left regular bands are a special family of semigroups which arise in algebraic combinatorics. In this abstract, we explore the representation theory of the invariant subalgebras of left regular band semigroup algebras carrying symmetries.
A key role is played by the topology of partially ordered sets and regular CW complexes.
