I am an Assistant Professor at the Kurt Gödel Research Center (KGRC) of the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Vienna.
I received my PhD at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign (2017), working under the supervision of S. Solecki.
I have held postdoctoral positions at the California Institute of Technology (2017-2020), the University of Münster (2020-2021), and the Carnegie Mellon University (2021-2023).
My undergraduate diploma was in Applied Mathematics and Physics at the National Technical Univerity of Athens (NTUA) in 2012.
My research interests lie in the interactions between Descriptive Set Theory and Dynamics of Large Topological Groups. The topics I consider are often motivated by problems in Algebraic Topology, Model Theory, Differential Geometry, Operator theory, and Combinatorics.
If you are a student interested in these topics, do not hesitate to send me an email or pass by my office. Funded summer research positions will be available for the period 2022-2025 through the NSF award
“Dynamics Beyond Turbulence and Obstructions to Classification”.
