Title: Product set growth in groups and hyperbolic geometry
Speaker: Markus Steenbock (University of Vienna)
Abstract: Let G be a group acting on a hyperbolic space, for example, a hyperbolic group acting on its Cayley graph. We discuss uniform growth estimates for the n-fold products of finite subset in G away from cyclic subgroups. This extends results of Razborov and Safin in the case of free groups. Joint work with T. Delzant.
