Abstract: For an isometric action on a metric space, a natural question asks when we can "upgrade" non-emptiness of fixed-point sets for small subgroups to that for the whole group. Shalom (1999, Pulb. IHES) employed (BG) [Bounded Generation] hypothesis to provide an answer to that question. I will present the first answer to a natural question asking whether we can upgrade (intrinsically) fixed points without (BG).
