Title: A refined combination theorem for hierarchically hyperbolic groups

Abstract: Hierarchically hyperbolic groups (HHGs) were recently defined by Behrstock, Hagen and Sisto, as a far-reaching generalisations of hyperbolic groups, mapping-class groups, cubulable groups, and virtually special groups. In their work on the subject, they showed that, under certain conditions, a graph of groups with hierarchically hyperbolic vertex and edge groups, is again a HHG. In this talk, I will describe how to refine this combination theorem for HHGs of Behrstock, Hagen and Sisto. Joint work with Bruno Robbio.
