Jacobi difference equations with Mathematica
The purpose here is to show how Mathematica can be used
to make some calculations with difference equations, in particular, Jacobi difference equations.
Everything is contained in the Mathematica 3.0 notebook JacDEqs.nb
which is available via
It requires the packages DiscreteMath'DiffEqs' and
DiscreteMath'JacDEqs' which are available via
and need to be stored in the AddOns/Applications/DiscreteMath subfolder of your Mathematica folder.
Please see the notebook for additional instructions.
If you don't have Mathematica, you can still view the
notebook by downloading the free MathReader software.
Any suggestions are welcome!
